i cant understand how the board think the club will survive if this deal doesn't go thru. there has to be a compromise or they get no money and the title regardless of their ignorent attitude towards fans of killing the club. personaly i will believe it when its true and the adver are just stirring it up.

We should wear some orange and have a peaceful protest.

On a serious note, I think the physically sick description probably best matches how I feel. It's like waiting for someone to die - you know it will happen but it still shocks you when it does.

Diamandis has NOTHING to lose (well a £1).  It ain;t just the Adver listen to BBC Wilts or any news source. (except Brunel)

which ever way you look at it we are fucked.

the best that can happen is flogging off our only assets ( Brez / Ifil / Tozer  ) getting a journeyman manager and a relegation dogfight which we'll no doubt lose. Less crowds / less revenue etc -we all know the cycle.

of course the worst and in my opinion almost inevitable outcome is a winding up order and the death of our club - which will be as a result of years of mismanagement like Aldershot / Newport etc before us. This should never have happened - we are not a tin pot club with 2000 gates.

we need answers as to why 3 attempts to save the clubs have all ended in the same outcome and I am ( like everyone else ) sick of all these just about to happen takeovers. It's like watching a loved one in intensive care and thinking the kindest thing is to switch off the machine.

sure i'll protest and as sure as hell nobody will listen , I just think our last hope has passed with Andy Fittons fully understandable pulling out. Cheers Andy - at least you tried.
