Crazy, They're optional and a lot of them are pointless and don't help. I think I went to less than half of mine and got a 2.1 which is what I was aiming for, if I'd gone to more I'd probably have done worse as I wouldn't have had time to do any coursework. Especially in the first year you should go to as few as possible.
