I'm scared of barbers for some reason. I think it's having to take responsibility for what you ask for, because I quite enjoy having my hair cut.

Dude isn't that the normal for eppo's to have a brain scan after diagnosis, and in turn it's normal to have to have your head shaved.  Easy for me to say mate but try not to worry about things that might happen.  The shaven headed look is quality.

As Eric Cantona once commented, he shaved his head one day just so he could feel the patter of the rain on his bald head.  Very french, very eccentric, very cool. 8)

Mate, it is normal practice for medium/severe epileptic cases to have brain scans, my missus had them and her sister it is not pleasant but its nothing to be scared of.

I know that doesnt help at all for how you are feeling right now but don't think that they are making you have one because you are in any danger its just so they can check which part of your brain is having the seizures so they can act upon them.

As for shaving your head....do a no guard first then bic it...seems to work for me :) I shave mine every day and once you have got used to it you never go back!

From a Trinny and Suzzanna point of view - I think you can pull off a shaved head you know - women love it - they will all want to come and stroke your head (OK someone make a pervy joke quick!!)

I know its not quite the same but I had to take off my nail extentions for having my wisdom teeth out as they need to put a heart rate monitor on my finger! Ive found that quite upsetting  :wink:

Unfortunately for me, my cranium has an unusual reptilian-like ridge running over it, and with my name being Jamie (No I wasn't christened Bangkok). I was given the nickname DINO-J for my whole 5 months out there.

I choose keep hair on my head now.

I did a six month stint in Kavos, Greece (Greece uncovered n' that), and ended up shaving my head cos I (As many others) was too skint to go to a hairdresser.
