Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: OneAndrewFitton on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:00:20 Apologies for starting a new thread, is there a football league deadline of Friday 30th November to get the takeover done?
Obviously the Inland Revenue's deadline is tomorrow i was just wondering whether the football league has this deadline as well? Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: red macca on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:06:30 No

Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: STFC_Chris on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:43:49 Are we likely to hear anything tomorrow regarding the Inland Revenue deadline and what that means for our future? Last I heard I'm sure Bob was denying it even existed, could make for some interesting back-tracking.
Friday statement anyone? :D Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: Batch on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:45:34 You won't hear anything in the public domain for 14 days from the WUP being issued.

Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: BANGKOK RED on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:48:49 But there FA won't have to set a deadline though will they. If we are issued with a winding up order then we receive a points deduction directly as a result of that! Doesn't matter if it's Tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. Sure it is a deadline , but maybe it is just a case of it being automatically triggered if the HMRC deadline is triggered.

Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: STFC Bart on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:53:48 No it isnt.
But remember we are already 5 months overdue on a CVA payment- as well as owing the revenue an additional £1.5m at least. Thats not counting the other creditors. Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: Samdy Gray on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:53:52 No I don't think so. Only if we actually go into administration again, which is an automatic 10 point deduction.

If so that's ridiculous. No i don't think so Tails. Just think the FL have decided to slap their deadline (if this is true) for a possible points deduction on the same day to really crank up the pressure. Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: STFC Bart on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:55:13 The football league have the sanction to impose a points penalty- in the event we break insolvency rules as Leeds did.
In effect- we are breaking them and have been for 5 months as long as the CVA is overdue Title: Friday 30th November Deadline Post by: Tails on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 17:55:28 Why doesn't someone email the league?
