Post by: blinkpip on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, 17:29:44

Yes I think so, lucky really as only 2 league games as opposed to 3.

JP will need a kick up the ass now for sure.

Quite relieved in a way in regards to ifil, playing with a little fracture in the shin anyway so gives him the much needed rest he needs. Will miss him but in the long term i dont think its a bad thing

I hate to say it but Zaboub's reaction wouldn't have helped his cause the bloody idiot.  It was never a red card, but come on he didn't need to act in that way after the dismissal.

To be honest if they recinded Ifil's they would have had to take the rover's red away too, and then that would be a little embarassing to the FA, having a "premiershit" ref get it so wrong.

It's never worth appealing anyway unless it's mistaken identity, the FA don't have the bollocks to "undermine" a stupid referee.
