Besides which, does this mean that the atricle in todays adver was all made up, well if it was then it was one hell of an elaborate piece of false journalism.

Not really, chances are the Adver spoke to Fitton early yesterday afternoon before his meeting with SSW.

However, why say it will be done on Friday when we have a home game on the Saturday

if it had been atrributed to Fitton directly by the reporter then fair enough - but coming out of Holt's mouth ?  Wouldn't be at all surprised if Fitton is still on a plane somewhere and Bob thought he would just help matters a bit in his absense.  I'm happy to be proved wrong though

If the advertiser had any balls they would either confirm their sources or actually make some sort of effort to make the wider public aware of the deep problems we are facing.
