Title: Embargo and New Manager Post by: Run_the_bath on Monday, November 26, 2007, 16:31:52 I know the transfer embargo is designed to stop the club buying or loaning players but im wondering if and how it could affect the signing of a new manager. The idea of the embargo is basically to stop the club spending funds on new players until they clear their football debts.
If or "when" sturrock goes will the league allow the club to fund the pursuit of another manager i wonder?Or will they say that in your current situation you will have to use someone already on the payroll?just speculating on the possibility so can anyone shed any light on this? :D Title: Embargo and New Manager Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, November 26, 2007, 16:35:30 If the club had any sense they'd use 60k of the compo to pay off the football debts and clear the embargo. But hey this is the board we are talking about here :-))(
