Title: LNT
Post by: Samdy Gray on Saturday, November 24, 2007, 00:21:36
So what have people been up to?

Lately, I have mostly been:

- Growing a beard
- Getting a new job
- Playing a lot of guitar

I think maybe I should combine the 3 somehow.

Ace.

I tried making a robot once. It was one of those weekly magazine types.

I gave up after issue 7 so only had a partially completed robot.

I watched Jimmy Carr on Channel 4, Athlete on now and Jason Donovan up next. It's a pretty mega Friday night.

Not a lot really. Played a bit of NES Zelda 1 on the Gamecube. The Game Over, 32 evenly spread note music, has now been playing for about 6 hours. To be honest it's starting to send me mental but I'm too lazy to lean over and turn it off. Result.

Apart from that I've been chilling on here. Oh and watching old Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. They should do a cross over with Knightmare, where Ramsay shows them what to do whilst the owners have to wear the Helmet of Justice. "3 steps forward, turn 90 left, lower prices, shorten menu, side-step right 4 paces, sack head chef, turn 90 degrees right, change name of restaurant... [etc.]"

It would be awesome.

It's a good programme though. Especially since despite the slightly over the top aggression from Ramsay, it's still pretty down to earth. He doesn't promise to turn around places in a week, just make them not go out of business and maybe break even. He justifies what he's suggesting too, not just random suggestions out of the air.

Good stuff.

Oh I've also been playing an obsucre RPG called "Demise - Rise Of The Ku'tan". Got pissed after I managed to get SiPie the Troll Ninja to level 3 before getting killed my ghosts. I'm going back to NPPAngband, which is a stupidly awesome Rogue-Like and I recommend it to anyone. Although losing my level 40 Rogue the other day hurt a bit. That's the way that these tough RL's fall. If you die you die.

Is that connected to the society Children for Men? I think it's half way between NAMBLA and Fathers for Justice.

Perhaps you could do some busking, strumming the guitar with your facial hair.

I watched HIGNFY, which put me in a great mood, which has quickly changed since arriving at work, after an argument with my boss. Fucking bitch !"£$%^&*(()*&^%$£"£$%^&*()(*&^%$

Hey Sam, do you want to start a band? I don't mind being relegated to bass. I can play a bit, I think you've heard me.

I think we should take the cop out route and get a lady lead singer. They tend to sound better even if they're not very good. If not then I'll put my hat into the street. I'm pretty sure my voice is better than Ian Browns so it shouldn't be a hindrance.

I'll give up bass if you want to play it. I can do keyboards with a bit of practice. I had the main bit of Sympothy for the Devil down a few months back but it sounds crap with out the ace drums.

I don't think we have that many injokes. Nothing more complicated that fatbury being a sex pest anyway. Oh and the old word changes, but they're pretty obvious. Oh and Manatees, and taking the piss out of everything. Nah no injokes here.

Get involved. It's a bit addictive though.

You are driving from Atlanta to Arkansas via the Rockies????

Seems a bit out of the way to me. Want some information.

Don't side track it. I want Mr McCann to get involved. Terry my new friend, if you reply to this comment in true TEF (Town End Forum) classic humour then you'll be the get the record of the least posts with an individual title. Good god that needed some punctuation. Oh well, here we go...

Given your user name..

Madeleine McCann walked into a bar...

Is there a standard TEF reply to this or is it one of those tests where i say the first thing that comes into my head??

Title: LNT
Post by: flammableBen on Saturday, November 24, 2007, 01:37:46
first thing. There's no standard as far as I know. There normally isn't. And if there is then it doesn't matter, if you give a good response then you can usurp the standard

Just wondered, because the Rockies are much further west than Arkansas, which is landlocked between Oklahoma (West), Louisiana (South), Missouri (North) and Tennessee and Missisippi (East).

Atlanta to Little Rock is 521 miles, 8 and a half hour drive via Birmingham AL and Memphis.

Enjoy Atlanta airport. I fucking hate it.

And sorry Ben....

You'll have to get used to threads branching off. Sonic and Lion King are obviously branching off on there own conversation. It was a pretty good effort at integration though, I'll give you a B-.

Only fucking about. Post what the fuck you want. That's the way of the TEF. Start a new topic about something which you want to talk about. If it it's about football then do it in one of those slightly odd topics in the football section. Otherwise post anything the fuck you want here in General Discussion.
