Again these stupid polls annoy me when recent events over take truely great moments.

If a greatest ever song poll was conducted today "Umbrella" and the new Leona Lewis song would be in the top 100.  It's rubbish.

Has to be some Blackadder in there.  I could choose all of it, so in the end I went for, 'How the war started'.

some of the animations were awesome, although some were utter shit as well - very hit and miss. gilliam is ace though.

i've never understood how people don't find monty python funny. it works on so many levels that even the most stupid and least intelligent people could enjoy it as much as the most intelligent...

one of my python faves, international philosophy

Therein lies the success of Python, that the universality of its humour, allows it to be enjoyed by you as much as me.

Um no, there's loads of great modern comedy, typical German no sense of humour.  Just in the last couple of years, Peep Show, Time Trumpet, the Mighty Boosh, Borat, all brilliant.

Monty Python's Olympics for the Disabled was a cracker - swimming for non swimmers, Marathon for the incontinent etc  also their Football match of villains vs philosophers where it takes Socrates several minutes to contemplate the kick off.  BTW, Spamalot is a cracker.

Harry Enfields on a plane one was good and I think it was him that did the Arsenal team of the 1930's vs Liverpool of today which was good as well.
