This is probably going to be as Controversial as my comment about Wise but after the rave reviews people give him Aljofree just doesn't do it for me. At times I actually think Ifil is carrying him as without his pace I really do think he would have been shown up on a number of occasions. He's not a commanding central defender and doesn't talk as much as I would like a captain to do. I never thought I'd say this but I actually think we miss Vincent's communication.

He struggled a bit for me on Saturday. Overall though he seems sound enough to me.

If he was a couple of inches taller, he'd be a great centre back.  He also wouldn't be playing for us.  Might not be a shouter but I think he's organised the back line for us pretty well in the games I've seen.

I rate him highly.

To an extent thats my thinking, I don't think he is anywhere near being fit and is showing it abit and I feel it is putting Ifil under a little bit of pressure as he knows Aljofree is not fit and it is harming Ifil's game who I honestly believe is the key player at STFC. For me Ifil is the first name on the team sheet now....

i think he's quality and is probably playing a level below where he ought to be.

Might have been something to do with the fact that he could hardly run for most of the second half.

I've been saying for ages that we need Williams back alongside Ifil- Aljofree makes so many mistakes.

I like Hasney, think he should stop looking for that diagonal ball all the time but he's a good defender, that said if we got Collins back I'd just about rather he played alongside Ifil, I was mighty impressed with him, despite his darts player looks.

I think he has been ok, not fantastic but not poor either, more of a steady eddy type player and him and Ifil seem to have got a good understanding going.

i cannot belive the negativity about him.he is very vocal and can pass the ball better than ifil,vincent and williams put together.he's injured now but had started the season superbly.

The man's pleyed well for us this year, some people are never pleased.

If Williams came back into the starting line up I think he'd struggle, big time.  He wasn't that great last season tbh.

He can pass it, but as I say it's a bit too obvious where he's going to look to pass it most of the time, think he should be looking to offload to central midfield more often, rather than the right wing every time.

I have no problems with him other than that, and only prefer Collins because I can't see anyone troubling him in the air.

Ever thought that Mr Sturrock has asked Aljofree to get the wingers involved at every given opportunity.  Aljofree does as is told and is quite clearly well thought of by PS.

The man does what he needs to do, like Vincent.  No fluke that when these two players are involved we do alright.

That may be the problem, I just don't see the point in it happening all the time, surely the CMs can get the ball to the wingers easier?

i get the impression both centre-backs are told to distribute the ball horizontally to the wingers...ifil has a tendency of pinging it towards zaaboub/peacock
