hope the cocky little fucker has a shocker. Title: curtis weston Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Friday, November 16, 2007, 18:16:20 He'll probably score. And we'll lose. It's a forgone conclusion already really. The only fixture on the calender this season that i have 0% confidence in us getting something out of the game. I'm glad we can get it out the way tomorrow!
Title: curtis weston Post by: Kinky Tom on Friday, November 16, 2007, 18:22:33 I'm more confident about this than a visit to somewhere like Bournemouth, the players should relish the opportunity to get one over on Wise and the chance that they could be one of the only teams this season to take anythiong from there, they'd be much more likely to not turn up at Bournemouth.

Title: curtis weston Post by: Bushey Boy on Friday, November 16, 2007, 20:24:57 I thought he was one of our most gifted players last year. He has talent and Wise knows that
Title: curtis weston Post by: Spud on Friday, November 16, 2007, 20:32:22 He was pretty 'meh when he played, although he did score against Roverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.
Title: curtis weston Post by: jimbob on Friday, November 16, 2007, 20:37:21 i rated him personally, but clearly not luggys cuppa...ah well (couldn't access the shoulder shrug which was more appropriate)

Title: curtis weston Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Monday, November 19, 2007, 11:15:30 perhaps if he had spent more time playing and less fathering children out of wedlock....
Title: curtis weston Post by: Barry Scott on Monday, November 19, 2007, 11:26:39 Weston was exciting at times, but purely because he could run at people occasionally, people get all misty eyed about him and remember him as some kind of poor-man's Riquelme. His passing was poor and he didn't get back enough. Imo he was a greedy cunt who left his team mates to clear up after him.
I remember one game where all he did of note was run at the opposition defence a few times, go for some hollywood balls and missed placed more passes than Hewlett. People then think he's god? He was a liability. It's about a team effort and if he couldn't put in the work where it was needed he shouldn't be here. Pook is a far more industrious and valuable team player, hence why he plays for us and not that fucking Bigtime glory boy. True! It could of been anyones child though! Title: curtis weston Post by: RobertT on Monday, November 19, 2007, 13:29:58 He may not have been God, but he did show a degree of potential far beyond most of our squad. Whether people like it or not, an attacking midfielder who has a bit of pace, can beat players and be moulded on the passing front far outweighs having someone whose only real attribute is having "a good engine". Mix an Easton style player and Weston in central midfield and I think you'd have a good partnership. Weston worked well with Evans I thought, but was clearly not going to play under Sturrock so would have gradually festered before dropping out of league football if he'd stayed on.
