An unexpected upside could well be the gimmick of the idea actually means their share is worth much more than the £35 they paid for it - sponsorship etc. Plus, one or two people would have made some decent cash off of the Admin of the set-up.

The fans decide to play 3-5-2 but the players and Head coach disagree :shock: The worst thing about it all is they will probably hand 3 points to the Pox on a plate as the fans decide to play the goalie up front for a laugh

Supporters Direct today issued the following statement about the imminent takeover of Ebbsfleet United Football Club by website consortium, ‘Myfootballclub.co.uk’: Spokesperson Kevin Rye, said: “Fundamentally, playing fantasy manager is not about responsible democratic supporter representation or community ownership, which are the core values of the trust movement. “Indeed we are one of the most vigorous exponents of reform of the ownership structures in football, but our interests are in long term sustainability and governance of clubs. “This might be seen as a one off gimmick, and harmless enough by many, however this is a real football club, these are real finances, and real fans. a. Get a reasonable team picked with players actually playing in their usual positions and playing their usual game or b.
