Title: Mr Fitton Post by: STFC Bart on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 22:47:00 Heard tonight that Fitton has said if Mr D is doing the negotiating then no deal.
Also that he doesnt want Mr D profiting from any deal. Well we all know who to blame if this goes tits up then.... same as all the other deals Title: Mr Fitton Post by: yeo on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 22:51:43 Yep the Trust.
*wonders if was brainwashed on Saturday  Title: Mr Fitton Post by: Samdy Gray on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 22:54:08 Well if the rumours are true that SSW and Diamandis have fallen out, then Diamandis won't be doing any negotiating...
Title: Mr Fitton Post by: Ardiles on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 22:59:38 All this, of course, is completely unsubstantiated. But if it's true, this Fitton chap sounds all right.
Title: Mr Fitton Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 23:05:06 Fitton strikes me as a decent footballing guy a bit like Bill Power to an extent. Much rather have him than BEST.
Title: Mr Fitton Post by: STFC Bart on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 23:09:32 Hopefully diamond M wont totally destroy this takeover bid. Great that Fitton has seen through him.
Title: Mr Fitton Post by: Batch on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 23:37:39 I don't see how Diamond M has the power to upset the apple cart. He has shares, but not enough to make a difference if SSW disagrees with him.
Title: Mr Fitton Post by: OneAndrewFitton on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 23:43:04 Thing is since when does SSW disagree with Diamandis? He seems to let Diamond Mike do what he wants so it seems, I would really like to know if those two have fallen out, if they haven't then i can see this takeover falling through and then it will be the end of this club.
But maybe, just maybe SSW has finally opened his eyes!! Much rather have him than BEST. what makes you think he has any interest in football? as far as i'm aware he's not professed to being a fan of football, let alone a specific team. you'd have to be a naive fool to try and "negotiate" with mike diamandis. he doesn't even like it when people offer him an extra £8m! Title: Mr Fitton Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 00:26:38 SSW has fallen out with D, this means that D's greediness might not work anymore. SSW is still looking at B, but that doesn't mean he won't entertain F. Just got to keep T under control.
I guess or something Has anybody else seen Alphabet Enders? Or am I talking to myself. Title: Mr Fitton Post by: yeo on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 00:30:09 Isnt he the Hungerford fella?
He must like it a bit. Ive no opinion on the bloke yet,but I am liking some of the stuff hes said so far just dont know if its true yet.I dont know what he looks like,if he looks kindly i'll trust him 8) Title: Mr Fitton Post by: Lumps on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 06:54:14 Quote from: "sonic youth" Quote from: "Iffy's Onion Bhaji" Fitton strikes me as a decent footballing guy a bit like Bill Power to an extent. Errrrr......did you not read any of the interviews with him over the last few weeks, or is your memory failing. He's currently the Chairman of Hungerford Town and has spoken several times about his ambition to be involved in football at a league club. This is a very rich man who's motivation seems to be the challenge of making a club successful without just chucking moeny at it. Sort of like the bloke up the road who's team play in blue and white hoops. We have a couple of weeks before the official announcement, we need to decise what our reaction should be  That's All Folks looks the most likely. He also has stated in interviews like the radio one that he has been to see Swindon play a few times in the past, even though he doesnt know many of the present crop of players. But also trying to buy Newcastle Utd back in 88...oh right you said football team...I stand corrected! Title: Mr Fitton Post by: janaage on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 09:14:07 Bl00dy hell, I can't even imagine what would happen if this deal falls through with the board blaming it on Fitton's unreasonable demands blah blah blah.
We'd be treated to a 4 page pull out of the Mike Diamandis story, more pictures of him in that jumper, only now he'd have to have a pop at The Trust Bill Power Best Andrew Fitton Portugal (as a country) The county of Berkshire Actually make that a 8 page special!!
