i've just got back from a night out at uni, and my dad possibly could be at this call. i so hope he isnt there.

well im hoping he is fine there tonight, i've never been so scared in my life. this is the worst night in my life, it really is. even if he is fine, the way i am now i cant describe

i can understand how you're feeling, the lads who go and tackle these fires are brave and i for one wouldn't question the bravery of them. at this time i couldn't give a fuck about the salaries of john terry or steven gerrard, or if ady williams got so wasted he was irresponsible of his position at the club. i want this night to be over

I have so much time for the emergency services, what they do is unreal. especially seeing that they dont get the respect they deserve.
i obviously am biased with this, but whatever has happened tonight is totally unbelievable and i struggle to comprehend, and i just wish that the job they do was so much easier.

Sad news, hope your dad is well, my stepfather was divisional officer of Hertfordshire and did a lot of work in councelling FF around the UK.  I understand what you are going through.
