Title: On the Buses

I’m in need of help.  Is on the buses a classic comedy series or utter fucking gash that most people on here have never herd of?

For some reason I find it reminiscent of that era of timeless comedy gold but people seem to think enjoying it  is akin to shagging Olive herself

I've heard of it but never seen it, hence eh? you put the option in and there wasn't one for 'I haven't seen it' so deal with it.

Pure sacrilege Axs sacrilege but fairly snuff all the same.  The question is what is your piece of 70’s TV gold?

Personally Open All Hours is the king of kings.

So was I.

Nearly  :D

You must have seen on the buses though at some point.  I must admit I fucking hated it but it's grown on me like mouldy cheese hankering after the golden era of comedy.

Non of this office shite.

Next you'll be telling me you've never herd of Windsor Davies.

Top man.  :beers:

Hours has to be Barker and Jason at their very best.  Absolutely brilliantly scripted and performed.

I know it's wrong but Nurse Emmanuel was probably up there with Cheryl Baker for me.

Still worth a squirt back then.

Clarkson lives near me now and he's managed to upset  the natives something rotten though by blocking of what used to be a patch of public access on his land.

Someone keeps killing his sheep as a result.

I think you have mistaken it for "Love thy Neighbour" Which was indeed racist.

It wasn't particularly racist but it was very, very sexist, which accounted for much of the humour. Most of the cast are dead now anyway. That'll teach 'em.
