Title: mac laptop Post by: oxford_fan on Thursday, November 1, 2007, 21:35:10 a kind friend has donated an old imac to me in the wake of my laptop theft, but does anyone know how to wipe it completely and start again from fresh? problem is i dont have any install cd's or owt so that could be a problem....?
Title: mac laptop Post by: Panda Paws on Friday, November 2, 2007, 10:50:15 You'll need the CD to be honest - scan eBay and see if there's any copies of the last OS to Leopard (think it was Tiger) and just pop it in - the Mac will do the rest for you. Otherwise there's not really any other way of restoring it to 'factory', so to speak.
