Title: Do cats and nails mix?
Post by: Gazza's Fat Mate on Thursday, November 1, 2007, 21:29:17
Help me out people my missus has gone away for the weekend and has left me in charge of the cat. Well a minute ago I was happy as lary having a wank (thanks my free paysite) to some filthy teen porn. When my cat started going mental in the kitchen I went a found it with it's paw caught on a rusty nail stinking out of one the kitctchen cupdoard (the bottem bit where it meats the floor) I tired to free the cat but it just went more mental and tired to eat me so i got a towel a freed the cat that way.

What should I do now? there doesn't seem to be a cut or anything missing? should I take it to the vet? The cat seems fine it's chasing a sweetie wrapper at the mo.

Advice greatly appricated

You don't get things like tetanus from rust, it's the deep wound that gets infected...

If there's no major bleeding it's probably ok.

If the nail got caught between the pads on the paw, could have penetrated the skin, probably best to get it checked out.

And your bollocks will probably be saying hello to the nail if your missus comes back to find you've broken the cat!

Give it some asprin.

[note: don't, however much I want to be responsible for the death of a cat I don't really want to take it.]
