I joined it when KT posted a link to the save Swindon group.

Just looks like a load of saddos pissing about with shit.

I might be wrong though, can anyone tell me what it's for?

There is a lot of shit on there, but it's actually a pretty usefull tool if you don't get caught up in the crap.

I've got in touch with people I've not heard from from half my life ago more or less.  It's good for planning stuff too, can set up events and all that jazz.

Apparently you can meet hot women too herthab. Or hot blokes if you're that way inclined.....

Not a good move if your married mind.....

You don't NEED friends, just pick on random people.

Anyone see that thing on tv about Facebook t'other night?

I thought 'social networking' was another term for 'popularity contest'. Am I wrong then?

I want to be hip and trendy.............

(Although using words like 'hip' and 'trendy' would probably mark me out as the opposite :D )

Yeah that's what I was on about. I don't know why I was watching Watchdog though. Perhaps I should ditch the evening telly and log on to Facebook instead?

It's a bit over-dramatised but apart from that it's not that bad.

I think you're supposed to use facebook instead of work....

That what all the papers keep saying, all the office workers spend too much time on facebook.

Well I agree about that, but then again a lot of people need some consumer advice and stuff.

Facebook is now the 7th most visited website on the internet.

Microsoft bought a share in it yesterday for over £100m, for a 1.3% share or something, which means Facebook is worth flipping shit loads.

Adverts are coming soon, but they experts have warned about too many adverts will lead to people logging off.

And the founder is only 23 years old.
