heres one, top welsh combo the super furry animals were disapointed today when ahead of their dj guest spot at brightons top nightclub the arc this saturday, they were not given permission to take their tank down on to the beach. the mad welsh popstars normally perform their eclectic dj sets from inside the world war 2 tank however brighton and hove council believe the tank to be a hazard so the zany chart stars are planning another spectacular stunt in its place. Ad in one of the suppliments a couple of weeks back. E-mailed the chap sent a couple of pics and he wants to make it a regular thing. I'm not holding my breath until the first cheque arrives mind. Back when we where at Uni the local club/cattle market had a student night with a midweek personal appearence from Eastender's Gianni. He was wasted and stood at the DJ booth swaying mumbling crap. Anyway the abuse soon flowed en-masse and he got rather riled. Started shouting abuse back and was escorted out by security. Next day we contacted Mathew Wright then of the Mirror who paid £500 notes for the story. Paid for a few beers.
