I saw, I'm guessing, this one up at Wroughton a good few years back, at some airshow featuring historic planes.   I'm more of a railway than planes man, but went anyway,

Think it was its last flight or something before losing its license, and it was immense, doing aerobatics, huge fucker flip flopping about in the sky  8)

I was so impressed I think I bought a book all about it.

Delivered to 230 OCU at RAF Waddington 1st July 1960
Display debut at TVS Airshow, Bournemouth  May 1985
Last display at Cranfield Dreamflight 20th Sept 1992
Last flight to Bruntingthorpe 23rd Mar 1993.

Yes it's noisy Lebowski.

Like a Concorde but without reheat (same basic engine - 101s as opposed to 593s).

Mind you - if you want Concorde type effects then stand next to the runway at Fairford when the B1-B takes off. Now that is loud.

OK, so it wasn't that one....still looked like it mind.

Do you don an anorak and go plane spotting batch?  Words of caution, avoid  Greece.

I thought you might have just wanted to say what I did, but were too lazy to do anything but quote. I guess that would be a fair ploy.
