Something simple that stands out

NOTE: Trust address would go where SAVE OUR SWINDON.CO.UK is but as the trust do not formally back anything yet thought it would be unfair to put Trust on there. Ideas?? Comments?? To me something simple like this to tinker with would be good. Especially if sent to the adver to use in stories etc? Someone can fix it up around the badge etc. Quick concept really.

Again the 0 can be fixed by someone with a graphics package. Id rather use the old badge as the current board brought the new one in?

Thanks Whits Perhaps a site could be set up so we can pass awareness to other clubs etc and maybe note what the upcoming plans are and how people can help etc?

If someone wants to buy the domain name & Whits donates the webspace, I'll happily knock up a quick website.

Might need people to generate content to go on it though.

Easiest way is to get a feed to stories dealing with protests etc like trust, bbc, vital, MOS, Adver, Whoever.

If I buy the domain can we get this sorted so we can release this info at the Fans meeting Monday?

Fella's good work on the designs, one thing that crossed my mind, are there any legal problems (i.e. copyright protection) with us using the Swindon badge.

I haven't got a clue, just wondering more than anything.

It would be more good publicity for the campaign if they did though - imagine, a club suing its own fans, for using the club's badge on a protest banner trying to save the club.  :)

Can I suggest that we ALL change our avatars to one of the SOS logos? Make it clear when people are visiting?

With the logo designs - whoever is doing them, make sure you do them in as high pixel rates/DPI as you can in case/when we need to print them.

Sounds like the shittest idea ever, but has anyone thought about everyone printing out letters and sending as many as we can to the County Ground?

You arent going to convert anyone,no ones going to think "I thought the board was alright but fuck me there a SOS sight now I think Ill change my mind" I see no need for a site dedictaed to it,for me it merely dilutes the message.Im not having a dig here lads but I think we need a concrtete course of action before we need fancy web sites and logos.You are trying to run before you can walk.

The only badges (as far as I know of) that had copyright is the old badge, which they dumped in the summer (it was the first EVER to be trademarked) and probably the new one. So, I would've thought, if we used the 1990 badge, we're OK.

And anyway, as Fred said....Fuck 'Em !!

One look at thisis shows how many wavering fans there are - if they come here/read a secondary website, surely we want them to KNOW what we're about?

And I would add for the amount of people that actually contribute, there's probably another dozen that read and don't so I'd advise against judging the people here by the ones you know and those that post.

love it! If we are carrying plackards though how about 4 of the last 5 badges being represented: all periods of stfc being equally good(ish) apart from the last 6 months under the newest badge(the one with the londondon midland sctland railways colours on the train )

I think all of those designs are fab - use of the old badge is a nice touch, however not everyone (younger ones) will know its relevance however I'm sure it will work.

It needs to specifically target Diamandis- he is the trouble in all this

I don't think thats the right thing to do as don't get me wrong, I agree Diamandis is at fault but theres a variety of factors that have led us to where we are today - in the shit.

The Powers that run the club in general need to be directed, as we don't realistically want any of these people involved with the running of our club.

The point is that the board brought in that logo when almost everybody would have been happy with bringing the old badge back...hence using that badge

i know that reeves.but people are going on about people not being familiar with whats happening with the protest ect.and to make the cause as obvious to everyone as possible.so why use a badge thats about 15 years out of date?
even less people will recognise that wont they?
