With The town badge as the O's and get fans to hold it up as the players come out? or would people see this as interfering too much and affecting players?
Perhaps the adver would sponsor it and bang their logo on the corner? Could tie in with their SWINDON AND PROUD motto. Title: Placards? This is one of the things they tried during the orange campaign.

S.O.S in big letters with Save Our Swindon below would look really good. May even be worth looking at for the big advertising board by the county ground people are talking about in the other thread. I was thinking more for the march to the ground then outside the ground before and after. Except, it does matter. I worked at a place where the parent company went bust. Every day I turned up to work wondering if the doors would be chained shut. It was shit.
