What a roller coaster of emotions today has been.

Feel free to take the piss but anyone who saw me today knows I was not my normal self.

Walking to the County Ground today wearing my Town shirt with pride as always, I reflected thinking "I hope this isn't the last time" It almost left me in tears.

Looking at the crowd today and everyones faces everyone so solumn and everything thanks to the news today was really hard to take in.

The players you could tell, their minds where elsewhere.

Some people say its only football but to most people it is their life, their passion.

Most of my best mates I met through Swindon Town as we all share the passion and without this club I would not know some of the best people I have ever met, even the ones that take the piss.

It is heartbreaking but as noted before its like a terminal disease, you know its going to go but when.

Walking away from the County Ground today was very hard indeed today, very emotional.

Thats my sob story. I am not afraid to say, Today was a shit day not only for me but I am sure everyone else...... I just hope that we can all be able to share a beer in the County Ground hotel before footie again very soon but it doesnt look good.

To be fair Gaz that is a good post.

We can only hope. All i can say is at least the 200 or so people behind the Arkells gave it a real good go.

I'm just worried that last night didn't do anything. The current muppets wouldn't listen to us in the past so why now. My fear is that they will take the club down with them. I hope I'm wrong.  :cry:

Sippo, the last protests didn't work because they weren't big enough and didn't attract any media coverage. There were enough cameras & reporters there last night that this will reverberate beyond just the 30 mins last night.

The adver has a couple of pictures but minimal coverage. Atleast the word is out. The Western Daily Press has a couple of pictures and better coverage IMO.

And coverage for protests in two more papers than last time.

Oh yes definately. I guess I expected it to make front page news, the pictures speak more than the article as you can see a scuffle and the sit down protest so the picture speaks volumes.

Have to admit I'm surprised it's not on the front page of the Adver ... but perhaps they decided two days of sport on the front wasn't good for the rest of their readership.

To be honest Gazzza, I feel like my heart strings have been pulled before. Diamandis has cynically treated us like mugs because he knows we do love the club.

Feb 2002, moving the team to Chippenham/Newbury/any M4 junction, Power being removed, Portugese agents turning us into a feeder club. Its all taken its toll. Just been forced to consider us going out of business or being disenfranchised by our greedy board so many times it just seems normal. Of course when its signed and sealed Il be devastated, and Il fight to the end.

I don't think it's too bad. Yes people will point fingers and call us troublemakers, but at least some people actually give a fuck about this club enough to get them riled up like that.

Funny thing was though, that guy actually made it inside. He re-appeared through the directors entrance 20 minutes later and they just let him carry on protesting.

I saw him get thrown out and they let him stand at the front protesting too!

I think he means Starmes, who was the only employee of Dunwoody there last night. To be fair, Starmes is very competant pro. But as long as Bob Holt isnt there, he represents Diamandis. So he gets the flack.

No,Sturrock lays the blame with Best holdings not the current board.

to be fair sturrock is employed by the current board so i totally understand if hes going to defend them as they are the ones who pay his wages. (when they have the money!)
