We need some kind of generic content to ensure nothing goes wrong.

We need

Meeting with all interested media parties BEFORE the game to outline

a) what is happening

b) why it is happening

We need to inform them that protests will be ongoing inside the ground DURING the game

We need full coverage of protests after the game with as many being interviewed as possible

How can we arrange this is such short time?  I just tried to call you BTW!

Right, just phoned Chris - he says they will be at the ground with a reporter and a camera man from about 17:30 lookin to interview people.

They will stick around until after the game to cover aswell.

They probably cannot get live coverage today as the show airs at 18:00.

They will cover as much as they can tomorrow.

I have told Chris that his number has been passed on - he asked if I could get there before 18:00 but for me this is a bit early due to travel.

He asked if anyone who will be there early enough could call him so he has a contact to talk to.

Have other sites been covered, we need one post put up on each with SAME stuff, I will get close to the box as I can and try and grab others in as well

Has anyone knocked up a petition yet?  Ideally in conjunction with Trust and it would give a voice to those ho cannot attend protests.

I’d normally baulk at the notion as they achieve fuck all but they make a nice bit of eye candy for the media to use.

If this goes wrong someones gonna look like a fool...

He asked what form the protests would take so I explained due to time constrainsts of the today's matters it has all been put together very quickly - he understood this just fine and was very appreciative that they have been made aware.

Why now - no game for 2 weeks etc. Desperate, club on edge of liquidation

Who's this against? - Current board. Sir Seton Wills often seen as bailing the club out but is going to take it down with him my trying to get all money back. State of club is his fault for poor selection of management / advisors.

Seemingly impossible to work with the club, consistently messing up investment. Lack of transparency. Continuous dismissing of fans as trouble makers

Currently good on the pitch but can't last with instability - players not being payed etc. Sturrock apperently as in the dark as the fans

ooh, a hastily arranged 200 or so people marching from the CGH in chorus to the Arkells turnstiles at kick off time.  That would probably work better than just milling around after in fact, a show of unity.

After being behind the Arkells on saturday, when nothing happened I wasn't going to bother tonight, but if we are DIFINITELY protesting I will be there

plus the fact that our opponents tonight are one of our creditors in that we owe them 25,000, they might even have something to say about it

I've now had an email from ITV West asking to contact them about protests, have they not been spoken to yet or just after more info do you think?

I spoke to them, but as I said because I'll not be there early enough they would like someone to contact them that will be.

Yeah, I thought Mex came across well. He reminded me of a young William Shatner starring in an episode of Citizen Smith. I was very impressed despite the fact he wasn't holding a pitchfork.
