Arf, things must be going from bad to worse when Bob is rolled out and even then the tone of that piece is without doubt the ball is in their court so it’s not our fault.  What did strike me was old Blunderbuss’ claims that the clubs debts would be explicitly dealt with and warranted by the shareholders in the sale and purchase contract.  

Does this mean that they’re effectively drawing a line under what they declare and any future concealed debts relating to the current boards tenure will be their responsibility?

seems to me like the current lot have fleeced the club thinking the takeover will go through only for Little and Co to see the old lot are hiding stuff and its all going tits up now and now the current board have no money as they have spent it or its gone to the black hole.

Goes to show I guess the portugeezers are not a spin if they slate the current board etc. Be interesting to see if they are at tomorrows match.

Something that Power said in his statement also seems to have been overlooked by the 'there is no takeover' brigade, it goes along the lines of BP has looked into best holdings and they are genuine.

The only people fucking this deal up are the present incumbents and the sooner they fuck off, the better..........

How can they issue a warranty from the existing shareholders that there are no more debts. Are they doing this on behalf of Bill P then, who they allege owns anything between 22 & 32% ?

I mentioned that yesterday, it's the first thing I've read for a while, bar the fact they seem to be doing a good deal of background checking, that's given me some level of assurance over the future if they get control.  It's nice to get a little bit of info to back them up.  They still have a lot of questions that will need answering but at least it seems they know what they are talking about and other people respect them.

We've got no reason to think it's bollcoks.
