Quite simply put...

What is Plan B?

I think we all know the answer..... sadly.

There isn't one Gazz. I just hope that Mr Power is there to pick up the pieces.

Exactly my point mate.... There isn't one, and how long with BP wait?

He has waited a year so far. He won't be waiting much longer anyway.

I think we all kind of knew that this takeover wouldn't run smoothly.

Looks like we've been proven right.

What else can we do? Protests won't work, because of the high proportion of fans who aren't aware of the nonsense thats going on behind the scenes.

400 or so hard core fans protesting outside the Arkells just seems to make the current board dig their heels in even moreso.

I'm so worried that this will all end in tears  :(

Sorry 8, I think you are wrong.

400 would have a massive impact and would prove the catalyst for more to join.

The 50-80 we had last year would not make an impact at all.

However, the timing and co-ordination needs to be spot on for maximum impact.

Personally I dont think that time is now, but it is fast approaching, and I am sure that we will be ready when it comes.

I can see TUMDFC becoming a tad busy again

Its time for the portugese to fucking put up or shut up.

We've heard the talk and seen fuck all walk.

Either put your money where you mouth is and take over the club, or if not then talk to Bill Power - we've seen the colour of his money and we know he's willing to invest.

Do something, and do it now - the clocks ticking.

The problem is that focus has been lost, and the waters muddied....last season we knew we wanted the Board out and BP in.

This season do we want the Board out, Ajit Arkaga, Rufus and Viagra in, or the 3 Amigos out with the Board and BP in or ..... :wall:

I think thats the problem Andy we should not restrict it to the TUMDFC we should let everyone know our intentions. We should not make it a anti board think as such but maybe support the portugese fellas so it does not just come across negative.

Although I am grateful that Bill Power's interest exists, it's largely pointless - they won't do business with the guy.

How fucking ironic.

It isn't the Amigo's... Holt's satement tends to reinforce my staeement that it's the board who are messing about. After all they dis it for 9 months to the fans consortium. As for protests, I think NOW IS THE TIME.  At the end of the monthg it could be too late, the clock is ticking.
As for the nature of the protest, it has to be Board out & Will's out.  Most fans can unite under that one, but not about the best alternative. I still think most would prefer Bill P, but most realise that Little & co, is now more likely, & would still be better than the current incompetents, however I cab't get passionate about the Amigo's, I can about the Fans Consortium.
(And I've found my orange hat too)

And protest about what exactly ?

What hard evidence do you have that the current board have fucked this deal up ?

I just have a gut feel, hardly enough to commit to protests

Well the board are still there.  Isn't that a good enough reason. Board Out will do for me.

If there are going to be protests then it needs to be more than the 50-80 last season, otherwise it will just dwindle.

In order for that to happen you would need for either

1. PS to walk out of the club saying that he cannot work with the existing board.

OR

2. The deal to fall through and for JL to publically state the reasons why it fell through and name some of the skeletons that fell out of the closet

I agree with Fred.

Also I feel that the more we have smaller protests the more we'd alienate ourselves from the fans who might be persuaded to join in down the line when something does happen. It's too easy for us to be labled as trouble makers and stuff or something.

as far as I understand Bill Power has put his money where he mouth is.

He has already invested 1.2million and is willing to invest more.

He put up, the board however have declined to acknowledge his existance
