Title: Think it's a bit late for a late night thread on a Sunday. Post by: flammableBen on Monday, September 17, 2007, 00:33:57 Please somebody have had an interesting day. I'm bored. I did get to sit in the pub all day. That was fun, it's not quite being a ninja crime solver though.

I'm in the middle of the "how many hours sleep do I need" game. It goes down with every hour which passes. Title: Think it's a bit late for a late night thread on a Sunday. Post by: Toni on Monday, September 17, 2007, 01:04:52 I'm just not tired tonight. I think its the long journey to Hartlepool and back thats thrown me off!
Title: Think it's a bit late for a late night thread on a Sunday. Post by: flammableBen on Monday, September 17, 2007, 01:18:42 I'm not tired either, I think that's more switching from late evening to morning shifts, and not wanting to lose my Sunday off imbetween with rubbish stuff like not going to the pub.
Title: Think it's a bit late for a late night thread on a Sunday. Post by: Reg Smeeton on Monday, September 17, 2007, 07:02:52 This has reached an abrupt end for two people "not tired".....I was expecting a bit of chemistry going on. I reckon you went over to PM's FB where's the fun in that.
Title: Think it's a bit late for a late night thread on a Sunday. Post by: flammableBen on Monday, September 17, 2007, 07:42:03 I wish. I stayed up watching the ends of Rocky IV, III and VI in that order. Now I'm super tired.

When you and Toni going out on this hot date? I'm in Ciren tonight, so thought I might look her up. Title: Think it's a bit late for a late night thread on a Sunday. Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, September 17, 2007, 21:20:07 Isn't it one of the Lord Of The Rings films. Probably Return Of The King, although I watched that one most recently so I could just be remembering wrong.
The worst kind of credits are the ones with a clip at the end that is supposed to be super ace ("make sure you stay to the end" your friend will tell you), but tend to be a let down. Worse still, the girl you took along will probably exclaim "that was the crappest three to four minutes of my life, I wish I'd never bothered waiting for that" and you go on your way. Correct on the question....the observation could be a metaphor for life, apart from the fact I don't recognise the situation. Ciren was rocking tonight, the ladies darts league is thriving, and there was a decent turnout of talent.....you in a darts team Toni? Long before they had those at the end of films, in the 60s sometime (or whenever the Sound of Music came out) my Dad told his best mate who was taking his then girlfriend to see the Sound of Music not to leave when the credits came up, because when the credits finished with the von Trapp family happily frolicking on the hills, after they ended a pack of wolves came over the hill and ate them. Apparently the atmosphere on the bus journey home was a bit frosty - bloke still hasn't forgiven my dad. |
