My dad was hit by a hit and run tonight on his way home from the pub, apparently he was pretty pissed and the general opinion is that he weaved into the road, he is currently in Royal Berks Hosp, not critical, just badly bruised and shaken. The guy in the car didn't stop, but to be fair he didn't even hit me, I just lost my balance when he came past me at speed, and no I wasn't that pissed, to others it might have looked like he had given me a slight knock, I'm sure the driver saw me fall though.
