Title: Do you think Post by: tans on Friday, September 7, 2007, 12:53:16 If i was to send a shirt to the club and ask if it could be signed by the squad, and pay for P&P for it to come back to me, do you think the club would do it or tell me to fuck off? I would have to make up some charity story then.
Title: Do you think Post by: Arriba on Friday, September 7, 2007, 12:55:30 if it aint for charity then you shouldn't make that request anyway.

"signed Swindon shirt for sale". Like Arriba says just ask the players to sign it yourself. Title: Do you think Post by: tans on Friday, September 7, 2007, 13:02:07 I wouldnt sell it Jan, thought about giving it to someone for their birthday.
Title: Do you think Post by: janaage on Friday, September 7, 2007, 13:16:01 In that case explain it in a letter that that's what your doing, although I still think it'd be nicer if you got the players to sign it as you could ask them to personalise their message rather than just a squiggle you can't read.
Or if you do send it in, tell them you'll make a nice little donation to that charity appeal they're currently doing as a way of thanks. Title: Do you think Post by: tans on Friday, September 7, 2007, 13:16:43 Good point.
Title: Do you think Post by: ron dodgers on Friday, September 7, 2007, 14:46:56 just forge the sigs yourself - who'd know?

Title: Do you think Post by: SwindonTartanArmy on Friday, September 7, 2007, 19:12:15 just drop it off at reception and they will get the shirt signed for you, no need for a big long story as to why you want it. They will just do it.

Title: Do you think Post by: Bushey Boy on Friday, September 7, 2007, 20:13:58 My best mate when I was 21 was sadly taken very ill with brain damage just before my birthday, he made a recovery and wrote to the club explaining he had not done anything for my 21st, they arranged a signed shirt for free and also gave me tickets to Wigan away and did a tour and met every player in the dressing room.
Was a lovely touch. This sort of thing should be highlighted at times when the club always get shit written about them Title: Do you think Post by: Northern Red on Friday, September 7, 2007, 20:18:05 At a standard home match, what sort of time do the players arrive, and do they sign autographs as they are going in?
Do they appear after the match or go straight to the pub/club/strippers? Title: Do you think Post by: flammableBen on Saturday, September 8, 2007, 01:42:11 flammableBen doesn't know what time he will arrive in the pub and never remembers what time he leaves. He will of course sign autographs in return for beer.
Title: Do you think Post by: Batch on Saturday, September 8, 2007, 07:32:39 I think you are like Samson. YOu used to be able to out drink Oliver Reed and George Best if they were still with us. But now you have lost your hair you'll be under the table after half a babysham.
Title: Do you think Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Saturday, September 8, 2007, 07:42:46 I think they have done it before, for peoples birthdays. But now that they do sale stuff on that auction site they may not do it.
If you wanted it done it is worth a go. Title: Do you think Post by: flammableBen on Sunday, September 9, 2007, 00:56:10 I found a bag of my hair. Any bids? It was pretty clean when it got amputated.
