Title: Cardiff - pubs Post by: jayohaitchenn on Friday, September 7, 2007, 13:37:47 there's a decent jazz cafe just up the road from the wetherspoons on the other side of st Marys road.
Also if you are looking for loads of young student types (young fit women) there go to jongoleurs. Its a comedy club upstairs, bar on the middle floor and a decent night club downstairs. Go out of the staion past the first wetherspoons, as you pass the 2nd wetherspoons turn left and follow the road down, it's on the right - you can't miss it. Title: Cardiff - pubs Post by: juddie on Friday, September 7, 2007, 14:01:16 st mary's street was carnage last saturday night. The Yard opposite Prince of Wales is decent, no shoes allowed though (WTF?). Is it? bar near o'neills was funny. I used to go to uni there - uncreognisable now. All the decent clubs have made way for shitholes like flares and the like. poor.

I don't want the Germans winning it, equally the Taffs as well. And a draw just wouldn't be value enough. Title: Cardiff - pubs Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Friday, September 7, 2007, 15:57:31 apparently wales have only sold 24,000 tickets :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick:

For comedy value, the krauts getting stuffed would be very funny :D But that would mean wanting the taffies to win and I can't bring myself to do that........ Title: Cardiff - pubs Post by: Christy on Friday, September 7, 2007, 21:00:06 Enjoy the day. I'll be there.
Apparently Germany have sold less than half their 6000 tickets, which is a shame. Those that do make it will find Cardiff a home from home: great social, great stadium and cheap tickets. Proper football. Title: Cardiff - pubs Post by: DMR on Friday, September 7, 2007, 22:32:14 lloyds, kitty flynnes, the yard
cardiff's a wicked night out Title: Cardiff - pubs Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Saturday, September 8, 2007, 19:26:29 Bit late but the woodville is a good pub but just outside the centre, in the centre moloko used to be the best bar by far and possibly the best in Britain but it's shut now and there's a bar called Iota instead, probably still worth going too though. Avoid flares. Clwb ifor bach is very good.
Title: Cardiff - pubs Post by: Red81 on Saturday, September 8, 2007, 19:31:18 I lived in Cardiff for a while. You may be lucky and miss the weekend storm of valley boys. Maybe you won't.
