So, I have been handed a new project to manage through the tender stage.

As some of you are aware I work in the FM sector (predominantly M & E) and did my first site visit today in Goodwood in West Sussex.

Well I'm glad you're happy. My day sucks.

Contractor delays proposal by another 4 months. Its already 12 months late. Fucking wankers.

Then, as we're in the midst of trying execute whats left of our program, our senior management, not having a clue of the implications, pull the rug out right from under us and completely destroy all the good will built us between us and our end Customer. Tossers.

All while I was out having a beer and pizza lunch (which was ace btw).

Thank the fucking lord I'm off this program in less than 5 months.

They have a complete suite on site where potential customers come down to choose their cars, completely bespoke, and that process takes 2 full days, and this suite would sell at £4000 a night if it were in the Dorchester.

I had a great day. I did absolutely fuck all work and sat in on a meeting with some guy from Proposition Management & Development and our Risk Account Manager and it went completely over my head.

i got up today and we had no clean water, so i haven't washed or showered today, lovely.

then i got moaned at by some customer who complained i didn't take sufficient information from her to resolve an issue yesterday when she hung up on me before i had chance to get any details. i hate new sites :(

hope u get that sorted sonic.  I woke up to no power on the boat as the shore cable shorted out in the night - lucky I didn't get a fire as there's a full tank of diesel.  Other than that a really shit day along the same lines as yours - cunts that should be doing a job finding reasons why thay can't and then landing the blame on you.  Still it's a way to earn a crust
