This is Ben, one of the young people we met, talking about how unemployment affects him: "Eventually you just stop really caring so much... you get up, you go through the grind, you have your day, you go back to bed, you repeat - ad infinitum." When i were a lass i had a choice to carry on at college or get a job otherwise my mum would have kicked my arse, now my job is not the best in the world but i have always paid my way and never been out of a job.
Apart from one year where i had a child, left his father and moved towns.... Single parents out of work makes me even more mad! I think theres loads of work around swindon if you're not picky.
