just thought id say how happy i am that we've been taken over. This can only mean good things. Just think of all the money we'll have to spend on players! Plus the fact that our financial slate is being wiped clean. I'm really looking forward to the next statement from the board.

Good to see something positive for a change rather than the guessing game which has been going on of late.

I'm still slightly on the fence, but whatever, the season has now started and we've just signed 3 players. Game on Wayne.

well in defences of STFCere, we managed to splash out some money on new players at the transfer deadline and McGovern specifically is a fantastic signing.....

I don't think I'll get carried away just yet, we sold a player in the summer (Jukebox) for a sizeable fee and would just imagine we are spending a proportion of that. Don't forget even under the old guard we occasionally paid small fees for Roberts, Ifil etc.

Don't think these signings really give an much of an indicator regarding the the new management

Your a good one to talk, dont you think your being a bit of a hypocrit? You have a go at people all the time for speculating and spreading rumours regarding the takeover......for once a rumour may have been right but slight double standards on your part.

On the face of it good signings and I have no problem with on the pitch matters, the squad looks good. But this certainly doesn't provide much of an indicator at this moment in time

The board are still wankers. That hasn't - and they haven't - changed (yet).

The difference, my negative friend, is that you attack anything that's positive.

My problem with people banging on about the takeover is that they are as much in the know as me, yet continue to speculate. And also give the worst case scenario.

Bape wasn't speculating, he said something that he knew.

Yet instead of either ignoring it, or waiting until the deadline closed, you jumped on him.

Signing yet another player known to Sturrock and on a three year deal, indicates Luggy's got no plans to leave in the near future.

Buying 2 players indicates that Sturrock was given funds.

I'm not saying everything's rosy off the pitch, but, unlike you, I won't be looking for negatives.
