On BBC RS today we are 50/50 in getting 1 (one) signing in by deadline day.

Considering for three weeks we've been "looking at getting two or three bodies in by opening game/before Luton/end of the week/in time for Nam/before deadline day", it seems now to have shrunk to 50/50 on 1 before the "trade window" closes. No wonder Sturrock's hacked off.

For me the turning point was yet another bullshit statement about a takeover, timed just a few days before the early-bird season ticket deadline was due. Do these people really honestly truthfully think that we are THICK? Because that's the way that they treat us.

On the radio Sturrock mentioned he'd given 30 names to the Board so far and we hadn't managed to secure one of them.  Now, either we are going after the wrong people and need to readdress the shop we are using or we need to consider the fact something isn't happening as it should in negotiations.

Still time I guess and if all else fails we can loan someone.
