:Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick: Fuck me my sides are splitting.

£300,000?!?!

He's worth 3 times that.

hmm well theres a surprise ....

looking at it from a logical point of view selling him to raise money for a striker actually makes sense ... but id rather Brez stayed

Im more worried about Jerel Ifil moving to a Championship side tho to be honest!

lazy journalism, McCarthy was at one match and they have put two and two together

I would gladly sale one of the keepers to pay for a striker

Although from what we've seen of him he's obviously a fucking class act, £300k for a keeper who's played 20 odd games in the bottom league is probably much more than he's "worth".

thats not to say we should sell him, I'd hate to lose Brez but realistically are we going to keep two decent keepers happy? one of them is going to be on the bench for most of the season. Tricky one.
Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him go for that, but I heard he wasn't interested in leaving and wanted to win his place back here. presumably wolves would treble his wages and he might think twice.
hope he stays as the competition is only going to bring the best out of smith too.

If I was in charge then we'd sell him for £300,000 and then use the money for a town fans free beer festival. Would be ace. Fuck the CVA and strikers and stuff.

I reckon that if we sign Easter by the transfer deadline then he won't score a goal until 2008. I've got a bad feeling about him.

Swindon would sell for £300k - a £200k profit in just over 12 months. Was the guy warming up with Brez and Smith on Saturday the French u21 we've got on trial? If so, then its got to be a done deal that Brez is on his way.
As for Easter, I'm not convinced. I think he had a good season because he had Uncle Fester alongside him. I would be very concerned about paying big money for him. I think Sturrock was probably bang on the money at £125k.

If Easter's worth over £250k, I'll bare my arse in Burtons' window. NB I said "worth" not how much he'll actually go for, which will almost certainly be far more than he's worth - doesn't mean to say we should join in the race to pay over the odds though

FACT!

I would start to seriously fancy our chances of having a decent season if we could sign some one who could find their way to goal without the use of a map and a compass.

That's another FACT! by the way 8)

Reading on the Wolves fans forum they dont want Brez, thier reasoning is that if he cant get into a team in a lower division then he isnt worth then signing him!

Well if only they knew, typical attitude of a "BIG" clubs fans really.

Not really.....

While Phil Smith has worked out superbly for us, if we were looking to sign a goalkeeper from a lower league who couldn't get into the first team, then I'm sure that there'd be a few complaints by our fans as well......
