I am writing to you to express my concern over the sub-standard service offered by STFC World currently.

I have been trying to log in since 1445 today, to be constantly greeted by the message:

Since I live about 4000 miles from Swindon, I am unable to pick up Brunel FM via a radio, so the web and STFC World are the only option available to me. Not being able to access the service that I am paying for on match day is extremely frustrating.

Whilst we are on the subject, I might as well draw your attention to the general service provided on match day by STFC World. I have been a subscriber to the service for 4 years, and frankly its unreliable at best, and despite promises galore, I have yet to see any significant improvement in the service over those 4 years. The most common problems are the Swindon commentary not being available until several minutes after kick-off (despite the opposition commentary being available)  and constant drop-off of commentary during the game. You might be interested to know that during the game with Walsall at the end of last season, arguably the most important in recent history, the commentary did not work until 10 minutes into the second half of that game.

I am totally disstaified right now and I  am keen to know how you intend to solve these problems with the service provider.

all those who doubted aljofree can start believing now.

i remember when you had to wait 4 or 5 games before seeing a league table.

i must say we looked very, very good today. apart from up front but that's a given. 2 goals, 1 goal disallowed, and 2 attempts cleared off the line. luton as promotion favourites? you are having a laugh.

we genuinely are strong at the back, all those who doubted aljofree can start believing now. i can only remember one mistake from ifil that let furlong in, and that ended up comfortably in smith's arms. their goal was totally against the run of play, though it must be said it was a very good cross and a tremendous header (similar to northampton's goal last week, but from the other flank).

our first goal was a fantastic move up from the back, look forward to seeing a replay of it. and just when it looked like we'd be settling for a 1-1 draw, easton bundled home the second.

a couple of dropped crosses by smith but in hindsight he'd probably be punching them due to the slippery ball. defenders all looked comfortable and played with assurance and confidence. pook got about, easton calm on the ball, rarely gives the ball away and positions himself well and of course scored the winning goal. zaaboub saw less and less of the ball as the game went on but when he did have it he generally played the right pass or put in a dangerous cross. roberts, the enigma, once again showed why we tolerate his inconsistency, an absolute menace on the wing and unlucky not to be on the scoresheet.

Pook played well for me, he has his shortfalls but he surprised me again today.

Zaaboub and Roberts were very good today.

Aljofree is different class.

zaaboob lacks endeavour when he doesn't have the ball,which frustrates me no end

Absolute tripe, he chased the ball and made tackles today.

It may sound sick, but I loved it at the end when Comminges and Arrieta clashed heads.

A ball in midfield, towards the end of a game we're winning and these two both sprint back and give it their all to win the header.....top stuff.

Superb effort from the lads today .. Sofi rightfully got MOM as he was brilliant today .. Peacock put in his usual 100 percent .. Pook did well again .. Aljofree looked immense at the back .. if it hadnt been for the ref we would have slaughtered them .. nothing wrong with the goal at all and constant fouling by Luton all game was ignored.

It looked like one of the defenders just bundled into the back of Roberts.
Don't really know why the goal was disallowed. My only guess was that the keeper was impeded - sat in the Arkells so had a good view as well.

Blair's only contributions to the game were setting up the goal and a couple of good crosses, other than that he was wank and needs to be dropped.

I thought overall we looked pretty good for much of the match against Charlton and we did create chances (It was only in the 2nd half they began to show us up)

Luton are no where near that quality, so I think we'll just edge it 2.1.

The tackle on roberts was class, 100% perfect tackle

and on another positive note, a couple of me mates are rewiring sturrocks house in old town so maybe he intends to stick around for a bit if he's bought a house here. either that or he's gonna be appearing on property ladder with sarah 'big baps' beeny  :soapy tit wank:

yes! that was a very poor show on his part, especially as we had two players off the pitch at the time.

Was the result a fair reflection?

Just about. Both managers had probably settled for a point, but Craig Easton's 88th-minute winner was just reward for Swindon's greater energy and attacking threat. The first 45 minutes was horrible. Hasney Aljofree had a goal disallowed for pushing and the big centre-back was also denied by Matthew Spring's goalline clearance. The second half was much brighter and Lee Peacock put the home side ahead with a bullet header from a superb Sofiene Zaaboub centre. A great Dave Edwards flicked header drew the Hatters level, but Easton's scrappy winner gave Swindon maximum points. Christian Roberts also had an effort cleared off the line.

How did Swindon play?

Paul Sturrock's team are at their most dangerous from set-pieces. Aljofree is a major threat from corners, while Jerel Ifil, Christian Roberts and Lee Peacock also giveSwindon a major aerial menace. Town play at a high tempo and look to hurry teams into mistakes. Roberts and Zaaboub provide a direct approach from the wings and not many sides will enjoy playing against them this season.

How did Luton play?

Kevin Blackwell has instilled a direct approach since replacing Mike Newell, but they ended up playing too many balls to Paul Furlong, who was excellent in the first half but lacked support up front. The shame is when Luton did get the ball down and play they looked a decent outfit. Spring was not involved enough and the same can be said of Darren Currie, who was often bypassed but did send over a brilliant cross which led to Luton's equaliser.

Star of the show

Furlong was Luton's best player, but the award goes to Zaaboub. The left-winger is a real crowd favourite and it's easy to see why. His delivery from set-pieces and out wide was top-drawer.

Villain of the piece

Peschisolido was an embarrassment and it was a surprise to seehim last 62 minutes before being substituted. His first touch was dreadful and he also looked in poor physical shape.

Golden moment

Zabooub's flick-up and subsequent back heel must be a contender for Soccer AM's showboat feature on Saturday.

Ref watch

Most lower-league football supporters would nominate arbiter Singh as one of the worst refs on the scene and he lived up to his reputation. It's not an easy job, but he makes so many simple mistakes.

Pointers

Swindon should survive comfortably after promotion last season and will enjoy playing against the less physical sides in this division. Aljofree is the target at every corner and he will reward first goalscorers at a fancy price at least once this season. Luton cannot be considered a value selection at 14-1 for the title on this evidence. They need to get more out of their flair players, although this is admittedly early days for a new team which could need time to come together.

Getting there The County Ground is next to the magic roundabout, which is a case of closing your eyes and hoping for the best. The stadium is ten minutes from the train station and a safer route than tackling the five mini-roundabouts.
