Negotiations have been ongoing with a consortium, believed to be Portuguese, for weeks and non executive director Bob Holt confirmed a deal is imminent. If the CVA is going to be paid, that's certainly good news. I'll only be breaking out the champagne, though, when we know what the intentions of the new owners are. What would foreign businessmen with no affiliation for the club want with a lower league club and debt ridden venture? When combined with the fact that Diamandis has been brokering the deal it equals trouble in my eyes. They were never interested in the fans consortium because they didn't want Bill Power anywhere near the club after their falling out.
