Incidently what did Lambert confirm? Simply that the players were paid by check? That they were calling in debts to pay players or what?

Leeds would still have to pay us as part of the league rules about using CVA's means they have to pay footballing debts first (unless I've completely made that up)

To be fair, it is his job. If cashflow is tight, then one of the things any business would do would be to up the sales and marketing effort and see if they can get some cash in from that to help them over the hump.

While we've got no money to pay the CVA or the players, we're in Austria on a pre season tour and looking to sign new players. Hardly taking matters seriulsly is it. If I were the IR, I'd take it as a 2 finger salute and slap in a winding up order. If these "investors" are serious then as long as they satisfy the IR, we're OK. Also, if Power sticks to what he said we're OK. Having just been told off by Ben Lambert for talking about this issue on another forum, I just about give up on this club. With this flood business at home STFC are bottom of my priorities at the moment.....fuck them if they don't want customers then they can do what they want I can't be bothered!!!
