Its almost as if they have no money, no investor and a big debt hanging over there heads.  Lets make a quick buck in every area and maybe we will be able to scrape the first payment of the CVA if somehow we manage to re-negotiate it  :(

Extreme paranoia. Even if the club got 25 sponsorships paid by tomorrow thats only £10k.  That wont even cover 1/2 the 1st teams wages for a week. :roll:

We only started collecting the money in today, and to give us until close of business tomorrow to stump up on some spurious excuse is unrealistic.

In all honesty I am not paying up front again and then going out collecting money to put back in my bank account.

The club can wait - if they're that desperate better late than never.................

Plus its home and away kits your just adding the sponsorship on home kits.  This could be some much needed cash as they continue to struggle and drip feed the club.  History with this board has taught us to be wary I would say this recent rush to get the player sponsorship paid is setting off alarm bells in my head  :?

Whilst we are on the subject Whits need money towards the upkeep of TEF he has no funds left in the account.

I have rode along trying to be optimistic through this talk of a consortium but with our boards track record for you not to be the slightest worried of demands of pay up player sponsorship straight away is crazy.  For me the whole thing speaks of were trying to make money now.....could be wrong but with the current board this is exactly how they do business.

But he also needs to be realistic, its not easy getting money in from about 20 different places then clearing it through your account before you can reconcile it all.

As long as you can get us the Blackburn money by early doors next week that will be fine (the programme for the BC game includes the kit sponsors page so you will be listed as Chris’s sponsor in that programme)

to be fair, some people on here have slated the board so much that perhaps the workers at the club have thought what if they arent going to sponsor it.  Perhaps someone asked the club to have that players shirt.

Lady, the e-mail was sent to the memberlist on L&P (which means you've registered on it) as a way of making sure we covered everyone quickly - we got the same hurry-up but any payment we make will take  afew days to clear anyway.

Just delete it and consider us friendly spam.

Is it the townend.com that are sponsoring Blackburn?
