I know it's only natural to look at strikers joining other teams, but Luggy plays to a certain pattern and we need players that will be able to do that. I noticed on the OS that Sturrock is optimistic about getting someone in before the shitty game, which, if true, blows a big hole in this 'transfer embargo' stuff. Yes but Boyd is a striker that fits the mould not only is he a goal scorer but he is also good in the air and would be perfect for Sturrocks style of getting plenty of crosses into the box. I'm backing Sturrock to find what we need at this stage.

His career record is about 1 in every 3 games, IMO thats what we need. Would have been a great addition to the squad even if we had 2 better strikers ahead of him.
