I am amazed that Alan Mac has decided not to continue with his Pompey commitments.  The bit where it states he "follows every Swindon match" made me chuckle a bit though, as last time I talk to Alan he was telling me that Pompey was his club and he didn't really have much time for Swindon anymore.

He must have had enough of all the travelling involved I suppose.  Fair play to him though, welcome back Alan Mac, hopefully he won't be too upset about dropping down from the top flight to the third tier (again), no right to appeal this time though.

Nigel turner has been around the local media scene for a while IIRC and Alan Mac is a legend, alas with my impending move to the midlands it doesn't really affect me, although my old man in dorset who used to pick it up can't any more.

Nigel actually did Swindon commentary with Jed Pitman on Radio Wiltshire just before Shaun and Stu Mac ...

I can't believe Kurt Hammonds on the bench again. It was only last year he was playing against me for Trowbridge Town.

They'll still have to turn it off for the games - the same as Radio Swindon did.

Kurt was one of 3 players I picked out from last seasons youth team to make it, the others being Chris Alllan and Lukas.

Came on today and didnt look too bad, no worse that Adams or Pook.

Ive seen him in a few games and sometimes his run is a bit laboured. He's only 16 and he looks like he gets a bit of back pain, probably from the growing. But I think Kurt Hammond will make it, hes got good composure on the ball and can run a game.

Was interested to hear at the weekend that Alan Mac will not be covering all Town games this season, only the games when Pompey aren't playing the same day.
