i was just trying to stop a massive argument kicking off again, it would appear that regardless what happens there will be inveitable melodrama.

all i was trying to do with keep the arguments away from the actual discussions whilst attempting to calm everyone down. i failed on both accounts.

anyway, i'll be without internet access for the foreseeable future by the end of this week so you can all enjoy a censorship free forum.

Moderators should be trusted to moderate - sensibly. No need for them to debate or justify. If they get involved in the argument there is a distinct lack of objectivity.

When it gets too close and familiar you get problems. It's a bit like inbreeding in dogs ... leads to distemper.

I think the mods on here tend to be pretty fair, sonic included. More possibly deletable stuff gets left than removed.
