Im actually very cautiously optimistic about this and look forward to the days we can really enjoy the football again.

So what if this all comes of and we get the right backing. surely its exiting times ahead.

Yeah if the new investor doesn't have at least £6bn in the bank I think we should stick with what we've got.

Agreed, I think Parker's name has been plucked out of thin air.

Not getting my hopes up on that one.

We should be optimistic.

I know the saying is that the grass isn't always greener, but in this case it's gotta be!

The Aspers rumour would, imo, be a fantastic result.

Mind you, anyone with a good business plan, together with the finances to back it, would be preferential to what we have now.

No it's true. He's just a front though.

It's Lady Penelope that holds the purse strings :D

Nah im not optomistic.

Something Sturrocks said in todays Adver about it being refreshing that the new investors want to stay in the background  worries me intensly.Still I hope it works out ok,just don't think it will.

Not necessarily. Di Stefano, Romanov, Chris Roberts, Ken Bates ....

I can't see how you can include Mad Vlad in that list, he's done a great job at Hearts.

He kept them solvent and at Tynecastle, which most Hearts Fans would back him for.

The signings of the entire Lithuanian national side and constant interference might be a downer, but such is life.

Fair enough, I formally remove Mr Romanov from the list. But the general point still stands - be careful what you wish for, anything is not always better

I guess for two reasons:

1) He has experience of what life is like at a football club under a foreign owner
2) A lot of space to fill and not much to put in it
