Post by: kaufman on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, 19:32:36
found some french link on news now and translated it into english,
make of this what you can.

In training course with the UNFP, Benoît Croissant played one hour last weekend into friendly vis-a-vis with Libourne-Saint-Seurin. The central defender has some tracks, of which one in Israel and another on the side of England. "I am in contact with Swindon Town FC, the club plays in League One in England, entrusted Benoît to us Growing (27 years on August 9) who always hopes to find a club in France. I received some calls of agents saying to me that they were on tracks but no offer concretes put aside an Israeli club "added the central defender trained to Troyes.

i demand we sign him now.

i don't speak french but from that wiki site, it would seem that he's played for clairefontaine, troyes, sheff utd, telstar (isn't that where luc nijholt is manager?),  an egyptian club called esmant assouit before playing for american side indianpolis braves until the end of last month.

decent pedigree...

Chris Blackburn wasn't it? The Adver made reference to him today I think. Only that he's been 'linked' though, which means fuck all if we're going to be perfectly blunt about it.

I was wondering if anyone knew the punch line, based on an old Sammy Davis Jr. joke.

The humor in inherent hypocrisy of the posting was also apparently lost.

Okay, here it is:

Who was first to fly across the Atlantic?

Curtis Weston.

Are you sure?

Of course, he's Alcock and Brown.
