We'll get another vague "It's all in hand, some sort of investment promised" BS, it won't tell us what's going on. Expect them to be massively vague about the level of any "investment"

I do find it astounding though that we are now 2 days passed the deadline, a deadline set years ago and the club are refusing to comment at this stage.  

If I was owed money by STFC I would be disgusted at this satte of affairs.

Is anyone here owed money? It'd be interesting to hear what the creditors have been told

honestly I wasn't fishing for a bite. I argee that not all that the board do is good but it is not helpful for the club for the supporters to be split

All the statement will say is, Androniku has started the wheels in motion to start renegotiating the CVA and that a investment is expected in the next 4-6 weeks from another party.

The problem is though there is absolutely no trust or faith remaining in the current board. Until they are gone they won't get any support and don't deserve any either, you give them an inch or leave them to their own devices and the club invariably goes into melt down.
A united front would be wonderful but until they are gone that will never happen I'm afraid as our board are absolute scum. The board deserve absolutely everything that has been levelled at them, its about time they took some responsibility, answered peoples questions and stopped lying to everyone.

I've gone for 5-6 today, although I don't think the staement will actually tell us "what the fuck is going on", it will just be another nothing statementm which will be a bit novel considering the deadline was 48 hours ago

I'll go for sometime in the next few days and I suspect the statement will come from Android as he is the CVA Supervisor and should know what is going on.

Although you would have thought he would have let creditors know what was going on already as he is supposed to be working for the creditors not the FC.

So if this is true diamond mike and his mates may get to blame the trust/consortium yet!

They could try blaming the consortium but the only ones to blame are themselves, if they ran the club properly and professionally then we would not be in this mess.

Isn't this actually good news though.

I am sure that this has been confirmed 100's of times but could someone in the know on such matters put my mind at rest:

a) They cannot go into admin again without us being booted out the league.

b) That if a viable takeover is in place at the time of the winding up petition (i.e. The Trust) the judge will accept the offer and there is fuck all the board can do?

 Our board have come out publicaly  stateing everything is ok if it has gone wrong they owe it to us to talk to us all now we have a right to know what the hell is going on by leaving it longer only makes it worse.

You have got to remember that SSW has a lot of money in the club whereas Mike D does not! A lot will depend on whether SSW has the sense to decide enough is enough, or whether he is too blinkered to the words of the greek god!

We all hope that SSW suddenly for once see's sense and goes against Diamandis and sells up to the consortium in order to get some money back instead of him being penniless.

It would be a good thing that the CVA would have been paid however it would mean the incompetent board would remain in charge which is obviously a bad thing, it means we will have to put up with their crap for years on end again.

With Diamond Mike seemingly pulling the strings at the club, I almost feel that he'd do anything not to let Bill Power take over the club, even if it means having the club wound up.

The money grabbing arms of the government - Customs, inland revenue etc. have made it quite clear that being a football club doesn't give you any immunity from the laws which govern businesses. STFC have pushed these to the limit over the last 10 years as it is. The football league will surely be looking to make an example of a club, to show that you can't use football as a safety net against sketchy financial gambling in the hope of making a quick buck. Which is exactly what our current board have been doing over the last several years.

If they manage to get out of this one then they've borrowed some time, but everytime they pull off one of these Houdini financial escapes it becomes less likely the club will come out the other side.

It's difficult to keep investing emotionally into a club which you know is being used by a few as a financial tightrope walking aid. Every time one of their schemes fails, then the end of the rope just gets further away. It's only a matter of time until someone falls and takes the club with them.

Which is precisely why we need Bill Power to come in, clear our debts, and put us onto a stable financial footing.

i'm not having this. it's almost 11pm now, and this still hasn't been substantiated, be it by the club, or by an upset employee's friend's mum's dog, so as far as i'm concerned, it's bollocks.

i fully expect the club to announce on tuesday, or wednesday, that the issue has been resolved. that is when the questions will really begin.
