Title: Driving licence
Post by: Bogus Dave on Monday, June 25, 2007, 19:47:38
Just a quick question. Im trying to fill out the application form for a provisional licence, and im confused by the question about getting someone to prove who you are. It says i can't use a relative, but nothing about friends, so if i put down my mate would this not be a problem??

thanks in advance

Shouldn't be, unless you use an illegal immigrant as your signature.

Just make sure they're over 18.

I dont really know my neighbours that well though, it would just be easier to get my mate to do it.

He isn't an immigrant, so everything seems fine and dandy :)

Don't they have to be in a profession ie a teacher, doctor??

It says that thats one of the recommended options in the little booklet you get with the form. But no-where does it say you cant use one of your friends.

Can you get someone your mum or dad knows to do it?

:soapy tit wank: suppose so. If the worse comes to worse i'l probably just get my neighbour to do it, it would just be easier to get my mate to do it. thanks for the advice though

So it's really just been a big fuss over nothing? Wait until you get on the road, you'll have to make all sorts of decisions. Joke.
