Title: Franchise
Post by: Bushey Boy on Sunday, June 24, 2007, 18:15:34
I know this has been gone through like a thousand times, but I despise that club.

Just been on their website looking at the new stadium, if that club was a person what a cunt they would be....

They think they are american, they do not deserve a spanking new ground, they have no history at all....oh hang on they think they do:

http://www.Franchise.premiumtv.co.uk/page/ClubHistoryDetail/0,,10420,00.html

Thats right on the website it had a section called History.  You have less history that highworth town fc.  You stole a club and stole many supporters hobby and life.  I feel so sorry for the old wimbledon fans, they lost everything due to a chairman who put making money in front of what football is meant to be about - fans, players joining a club with history, a community supporting its club.

I cannot stand them and I hope to god that club one day dies a sorry death.

I pray our club never goes down this route.

Rant over

Rumour has it that Paul Ince is gonna take charge of them, with the next maccesfield manager being Roy Mcfarland

it's depressing that so few football people - i.e. players and ex-players, managers, pundits - seem to have any objection to the abortion that is Franchise.

It's an illegal, second trimester, Irish back-alley, Rusty coat hanger, bloody mess of an abortion. And somehow it's still twitching in the gutter when really someone stamp on it's under developed head.

Unfortunelty there is a few quid floating around at Franchise so they are seen as a prospect, but Martin Allen was a good manager and he done nothing there, Ince has still to prove himself as well...I hope he fcuks up though

Most people involved in football do not see the sport in anywhere near the same light as fans do.  I think it's because to make it you have to not really do the fan thing in your teens as you're probably already signed-up to a club.  All this bollocks you here about players being fans is mostly shit I think, agents even tell players to kiss the badge in their goal celebrations to improve their standing with the fans.

In short, they don't get it.

I'm not a loss in protein
I'm not a throbbing squirm

Fuck this and fuck that
Fuck it all and fuck a fucking brat
She don't wanna baby that looks like that
I don't wanna baby that looks like that
Body, I'm not an animal
Body, an abortion

As I live in Milton Keynes I feel somewhat obliged to defend my home team.

1. Back in the day many football clubs moved around and it was only at the turn of the century that most teams settled in one place.

2. Secondly from what I can remmber Wimldon were in a shit load of money trouble and if it wasn't for the move to MK they would have gone bust. So surely it was better that they moved etc than go bust.

3. Money talks fat boy if someone offered you enough money to move your business out of Swindon you would go like a your tougnes does on a womens cunt!

4. Why do people outside of wimbidon/Franchise give a shit it is not your team, not your town so why do you care.

5. Wimbilon were always in a mess since the plough lane closed they were always on the edge and they finally fell over big deal.

I could go on if I cared but I don't but leave Franchise only in a decade or so know one will remmber all this and given the amount of money being poured into Franchise inferstructre I suspect they will soon raise thourgh the legue and attacrt all the wnakkers that follow modern footbal who personaly I would love to shit on!!!!!!

I don't think too many clubs moved cities.  Fair enough some moved from one area of town to the other, as happens nowadays, but from one town to another, or city to city, I can't think of too many league clubs that have undertaken that kind of move.

I don't know, I've heard and seen any number of players who've spoken in very disapprovng tones about the way the club was brought into existence.
