Do you think he would sign a contract extension? If the opportunity arises, I think we'd be mad not to try and get him to sign beyond the end of the season regardless of how we think the season will go e.g. In the unlikely event of us getting promoted, he will then be offered a bigger job and we'll lose him imo.
