Title: Transfer Embargo? Post by: glos_robin on Friday, June 22, 2007, 08:50:28 Obviously it is all going to get very messy next week but do you think the Football League will slap on a transfer embargo on us next week?
Title: Transfer Embargo? Post by: Panda Paws on Friday, June 22, 2007, 09:29:22 Depends if we have to go into administration or not ...
Title: Transfer Embargo? Post by: Ardiles on Friday, June 22, 2007, 09:32:02 We can't go in to Administration again. We've been there twice already. Not an option.
Title: Transfer Embargo? Post by: glos_robin on Friday, June 22, 2007, 09:39:10 I would of thought the football league would slap an embargo on until we sort the whole mess out, even last season we still had to get league permission for signings
Title: Transfer Embargo? Post by: Ardiles on Friday, June 22, 2007, 09:49:25 And it will be then that the previously apathetic ('not interested in the politics, only want to watch my team on a Saturday’) section of fans will turn against them. No one will forgive a transfer embargo or a points deduction. That would be absolutely fatal.

Title: Transfer Embargo? Post by: mattboyslim on Friday, June 22, 2007, 11:27:53 I'm not sure if a thrid administration will be curtains for us. I know its a horrendous scenario, but the previous two admins were before the rules were implemented so I don't know if the FL have backdated them to count?
Like others have said admin isn't an option, it's pay up, renegotiate (yeah right), liquidise, or sell to an interested party. |
