I could explain, but I wont ! EDIT : YES I WILL You see, a lot of us who have been ST holders for many a year, decided this year not to get one, beit right or wrong. We will pay on the day so the money grabbing cunts of a board dont get our spondoolicks up front. Do yourself a favour and go and ask the same question on thisis Title: Northampton away Post by: axs on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, 22:23:38 i thought he was asking if anyone thinks it will sell out or if buying tickets will be easy.
think it's a no from Fred though. :soapy tit wank: anyone know when they do go on sale? Title: Northampton away Post by: fatbury on Friday, June 22, 2007, 08:41:38 Northampton are selling tickets to their own supporters for EVERY home game ...
Is this one likely to sell out? or will it be pay on the day? anyone know? Title: Northampton away Post by: fatbury on Friday, June 22, 2007, 08:44:36 answering my own question - might help others
"Away fans are located in the South Stand at one end of the pitch, where 850 supporters can be accommodated. If demand requires it, an additional 300 seats can be made available in the Alwyn Hargrave Stand. One slight pain about Sixfields is that you can't pay at the turnstiles. You have to buy your ticket first from a Portakabin and then you have to queue again." Means only a total of 1150 - will be a sell out on the first game I would have thought. - Cant wait! I think what the fella was asking was, as a non season ticket holder, would he have problems getting tickets in advance or on the day for this game. I don't think he was begging for tickets. Last time I went to Sixfields (2004) it was pay on the day. I guess ticket information will be relayed on the OS as soon as its known. I apologise, I misread the intention Title: Northampton away Post by: lebowski on Saturday, June 23, 2007, 02:02:07 Quote from: "fatbury" answering my own question - might help others "Away fans are located in the South Stand at one end of the pitch, where 850 supporters can be accommodated. Title: Northampton away Post by: Give us an S on Saturday, June 23, 2007, 17:23:35 Surely they wont make the first game of the season pay on the day?
Im sure it will be easy enough to get tickets if you get them as soon as they go on general sale. I think it will then sell out in a few days. Similar to Rovers away. I'll just come in your home end instead mate. Title: Northampton away Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Sunday, June 24, 2007, 06:57:11 I should think the 1100 odd will all go and pretty quickly as well.
I would say that the tickets go on sale around/just after the 5th July as this is when Northampton will be selling their tickets for the new season Title: Northampton away Post by: magicroundabout on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, 10:07:04 i think we'll sell this out easily.
our away support last year was excellent i and i believe it will be improved this year. If we do shit then i cant see it being that great. Same with home attendances. If we do well then i think we will have some great followings especially with there being a lot less travelling this season. Title: Northampton away Post by: jayohaitchenn on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, 10:52:46 I spoke to ticket office man yesterday and he told me that season ticket holders can only get one ticket each for this game. I am supposed to be taking my sister and her husband but looks like I won't be able to now. very ghey.
If anyone wants to get 2 tickets for me, i don't mind sorting you out for your troubles....? pm me if you're interested. Title: Northampton away Post by: larwood on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, 11:08:52 Been mentioned before i'm sure, but £19  Lot of money for division three football.Still i'm sure it'll sell out and i'm pretty sure i'll be able to get a ticket :D
Notice Fatbury has made it onto the picture by the info for Northampton tickets on the offical site too 8) Title: Northampton away Post by: mattboyslim on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, 11:13:21 Whether thats a price for us or for the whole season remains to be seen. I'd imagine our away tickets will still be amongst the highest in the league even in League One - and whilst they might be a good view for the money I could see one or two clubs charging us extra as some sort of revenge.
